  13.            FontSelect allows you to handle a huge font library in a
  14.           proper way. As more and more font becoming available, and
  15.           many applications can't handle the amount of fonts, there
  16.           should be an easy way to determine which group(s) of fonts
  17.           you want to be visible to the applications. To do this,
  18.           create directories in the !Fonts directory with meaningfull
  19.           names (e.g. 'Acorn' for the fonts you get together with your
  20.           machine, 'Heading' for fonts which can be used as header
  21.           fonts etc.) and move (SHIFT-drag) the fonts into these.
  22.           At the end the !Fonts directory should contain:

  26.                          !Sprites
  27.                          CheckDkTp
  28.                          Fonts          
  29.                          FontSelect
  30.                          Super

  33.            Now, whenever you double click on the !Fonts directory,
  34.           FontSelect will be run, and open a window from which you can
  35.           make a selection of the font 'groups' you want to use. The
  36.           groups which where already selected (read: where part of the
  37.           'Font$Path' variable), will be ticked. By clicking MENU
  38.           while the pointer is over the window, you'll be presented by
  39.           a menu. This menu contains the useual 'Info' & 'Quit'
  40.           option. It also contains the 'Save setup' options. This
  41.           options will save the current selected groups, so the next
  42.           time you startup (power-on) the selected groups will be
  43.           known again. This is done be recreating the !Boot file (have
  44.           a look at it).

  50.            FontSelect itself (the module) should be put in the !Fonts
  51.           directory, together with the !Boot, !Run and CheckDkTp file.
